Our wellness workshops focus on social emotional learning (SEL). It is the process through which all young people acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions, achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions.
Group workshops and activities will teach the 8 dimensions of wellbeing. Wellness comprises of eight mutually co-dependent dimensions: emotional, physical, occupational, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and financial. If any one of these dimensions is neglected over time, it will adversely affect one's health, well-being, and quality of life. Youth will be given the tool to practice a well-rounded balance of these wellness dimensions.
