Dr. Shana Burnett is a lifelong champion for educational equity, innovation, and youth empowerment. As the founder of InnovateEd Solutions LLC, she leads transformative work that equips educators, strengthens school communities, and bridges the gap between leadership, families, and student success. With over 20 years of experience in public education—rising from classroom teacher to principal—Dr. Burnett has led systemwide improvements rooted in culturally responsive leadership and inclusive school culture.
Leadership and Community Engagement
A proud Newark, New Jersey native, Dr. Burnett is deeply committed to the community that raised her. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and has advanced initiatives that promote STEAM integration, leadership development, and authentic family engagement. Her leadership has extended beyond the classroom: she has served as an assistant football and basketball coach and previously contributed to youth and women’s ministries through her church—reflecting a deep commitment to service, mentorship, and holistic leadership.
